Elegance and luxury: marble-effect porcelain stoneware cladding for a refined bathroom

The daytime bathroom embodies a perfect balance between modern design and classic style, thanks to the skilful use of materials and furnishings. The walls are clad with large glossy porcelain stoneware slabs a material that remarkably reproduces the refined and luxurious veining of natural stones. This type of cladding not only enhances the beauty of the space but also offers a practical solution, thanks to the durability and ease of maintenance that characterize porcelain stoneware.

Features of the cladding

The glossy porcelain stoneware slabs used feature a variegated texture reminiscent of agate in its black color version, a precious marble, with shades ranging from black to grey, up to lighter tones that add depth and movement to the surfaces. The overall effect is that of a vibrant and three-dimensional surface, almost like a semi-precious stone that captures the light and reflects it, creating plays of light and shadow. This cladding is not only visually striking but also conveys a sense of luxury and refinement that dominates the entire space.

Elegant furnishings

The furnishings chosen for this bathroom complete and enhance the opulence of the walls: the cabinet, characterized by sinuous and classic lines, is in a deep black, with elegant finishes and a countertop white ceramic washbasin that creates a refined visual contrast and recalls the art déco style.

The large oval mirror with a black frame integrates perfectly into the style and color scheme designed for the bathroom, adding a touch of timeless elegance. It is not only a functional element but also enhances brightness and the perception of space.

Design details

Every detail in this bathroom has been carefully designed to emphasize the feeling of luxury and comfort. The lighting system, for example, allowed us to plan lights positioned above the mirror, creating a soft and warm illumination, ideal for relaxation, while always taking into account the natural light entering through a light and sheer window curtain.

The floor, light and bright, balances the visual effect of the dark walls, giving the bathroom an airy and spacious atmosphere, despite the presence of large dark-toned surfaces.

A design for a unique space

Overall, this bathroom combines materials and furnishings to create a sophisticated and welcoming environment. Glossy marble-effect porcelain stoneware proves to be a perfect choice for those seeking a visually impactful yet durable and practical solution, and it is thanks to these characteristics that the space is not only aesthetically refined but also functional and long-lasting.

The furnishings, with a revisited classic style combined with modern materials, create an environment that radiates timeless elegance, perfect for those who desire a space dedicated to well-being that also expresses luxury and refinement.

Minimal and refined bathroom

Imagine stepping into this master bathroom, where minimalist design and elegance blend perfectly. As soon as you cross the threshold, the first thing you notice is the large bathtub in a matte white finish, perfect for creating an ideal atmosphere for a relaxing bath.
Facing the bathtub, the wall has been furnished with a wall-mounted unit featuring a clean and functional design, along with a large mirror that reflects the entire room, amplifying the space. We paired it with two round mirrors, echoing the lines of the wall lights, to soften the bathroom’s rigorous geometries.
The backdrop of this composition is clad with large alabaster cocho slabs, adding elegance and refinement.

Color harmony

The light-colored resin-effect floor has been extended in large format onto some of the walls to further enhance the alabaster effect and to maintain the chromatic harmony of the entire space. This goal is also achieved through the two illuminated niches which have been internally clad with the opposite effect to that used on the walls.

This bathroom is not just a place for personal care, but a true haven of tranquility, where every detail has been designed to offer an experience of relaxation and well-being.

Private and intimate shower

At the end of the room, a spacious and intimate shower has been designed: the beige walls create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, while the choco shades on the left add a beautiful visual contrast.
This space has been furnished with a round overhead shower, a wall-mounted hand shower, and a recessed niche that provides a practical surface for storing shampoo, soaps, and other bathroom products, keeping everything within reach without compromising the clean aesthetic of the shower. The floor continues seamlessly, transforming into a flush shower tray, ensuring continuity and ease of cleaning.

Modern and practical bathroom

We are in the bathroom dedicated to the clients’ children, where the key word during the design phase was practicality: installing large-format porcelain stoneware tiles means fewer joints and therefore minimal spaces where dirt can accumulate, in favor of wide surfaces that are easy to clean.

In furnishing this space, we opted for a matte lacquered clay-colored unit with a double integrated washbasin, set against a background with blue and brown marble-like patterns. The wall-hung sanitary fixtures were installed on the same wall, matching the brushed stainless steel taps of the washbasins and sharing the light and neutral flooring of the entire room, a surface that also extends vertically, cladding the entire shower wall.

Concealed shower area

A fully recessed shower enclosed by a glass door with a central opening installed flush with the wall, creating a continuous surface and giving continuity to the beige resin-effect slabs. The installed shower head allows you to enjoy a pleasant rainfall effect, while the matte white towel radiator with hooks warms the space and makes it practical to hang your bathrobe just outside the shower.

This design is elegant and functional, perfect for those looking for a contemporary and minimalist look for their bathroom.

Laundry furniture composition

For the laundry bathroom, we planned a deep integrated Corian washbasin and a large cabinet with sinuous lines and spacious drawers to store as many items as possible. The furniture composition was completed with a large rectangular mirror and a stainless steel mixer tap.

Surfaces

The wall that houses the sanitary fixtures and the shower is decorated with 30x30 patterned tiles with a white background and various geometric motifs in dark tones, a cladding that adds an interesting visual contrast to this space. The other surfaces, including the floor, were designed in grey stone-effect porcelain stoneware.

WC and shower area

White ceramic sanitary fixtures were installed next to a shower made with a flush-fitting porcelain stoneware tray and equipped with a round overhead shower, a hand shower, and wall-mounted controls.

We design and create interiors and exteriors throughout the Veneto region, but we are not equipped or organized to work outside our region, as this would not allow us to provide the proper level of assistance to our clients.

As you may have noticed, we only use handcrafted custom-made furnishings and do not rely on "fast forniture" solutions; on the contrary, we prefer to work with high-quality, Made in Italy products. For this reason, we want to point out—although it may seem obvious—that we are not the cheapest and our furnishings are not the lowest-priced on the market. However, it is also important to say that our services—consultation, design, site inspections, assistance during the sales process and after-sales support—are included in the price of your future quotation and represent values and services that are essential and that you will certainly appreciate.
