Floors and furnishings elegant for a house in Zevio

Minimal but functional

I must premise that the client is a great cook, she knows well the raw materials that she cultivates directly in her beautiful vegetable garden and with which she creates gourmet dishes.

For her kitchen furnishing she has always had clear ideas:

I need a lot of space, of a large practical support surface, of an effective induction hob and easy to keep clean, but I would like a minimal, linear, clean kitchen and easy to keep clean!

Having listened to these her needs we started with the design of the most important space of the dwelling, her kingdom!

Tall units spacious and a large surface

For the equipped wall we have recessed the columns flush, to make them “disappear”: the last column towards the French door is in reality a passage door that leads to a large pantry, completely hidden.
The immense counter, 300 cm x 120 cm, has been designed and made with sides and top in gres, and integrated sink with the same corten effect material.

Work space but also of hospitality

The work island is the part of the kitchen most used and most practical, where Anna cooks and her guests sit down to chat or nibble. The front of the island is instead made with a panel of marsh oak wood cannettato a three-dimensional effect that we have recalled also inside the sideboard for glasses and in the living, for coherence.

Induction hob Bora

For the cooking of food it has been expressly requested an induction hob is of BORA with extractor hood, effectively very practical to use and easy to clean as per her request; same concept used for the choice of the American fridge which was another of the elements for her essential to have as much storage space as possible.

Color, romanticism and relax in the living area

For the living area we wanted a wall that would give a bit of color to the whole environment of the open space and for this we have selected some wallpapers matched to the floor and Anna has chosen, finally, the one that you see in the photos.
A floral background that gives movement and elegance thus recreating a romantic, relax area.

Harmonic continuity between the surfaces

The wall has been equipped with columns in electric blue lacquered finish, matched to the entrance furniture and to the resin staircase, which have a background in marsh oak wood cannettato and it is the same used in the kitchen counter.

This coherence of material allows us to have a house that links all the spaces, made custom and personalized for the client.

Custom-made furniture in the entrance

The large entrance furniture, with sliding doors and milled handles, has been made completely custom-made listening to the needs of the client:

I would like a lot of space to hang jackets, and as much space as possible to organize bags

Same surface in the staircase and in the doors

The sample lacquer is of the same electric blue that you have seen before in the photos of the living and that as I was mentioning to you, we have also brought into the resin staircase, adjacent to this custom-made furniture.

Surfaces in green alabaster

The alabaster that we have left in the living area we find again in the bathroom of the son, but with a different shade. The boy, in fact, who is a lover of the color green  has opted for surfaces in large slabs marble effect alabaster in the avocado tone.

Furnishings and accessories black

He asked us to contrast with dark furnishings and accessories, for this we have inserted in the project a furniture, the taps, the towel radiator and a shower box in total look black finish.
A very successful contrast that we have also taken up in his bedroom, that I will show you in the paragraph below, making the structure of the bed in the same anthracite lacquer. The coherence that we like!

Alabaster anti-slip in shower

The flooring continues without interruptions also in the shower tray, covered with the same gres but in the anti-slip version.
On the wall we have instead worked with slabs alabaster effect but in matte green version, a very successful combination!

A storage bed!

All the bedrooms are very spacious, as expressly requested by the client: for each room we have made custom-made a double storage bed, structure to which we have incorporated the bedside tables to have a linear and particular furnishing.

Furnishings and gres alabaster

The finishes chosen for these furnishings are different from each other because besides having been designed to match the floor, which is the same alabaster effect in all the dwelling, we have contextualized them and matched them to each bedroom environment depending on the style.

Bathtub and shower for well-being in the bathroom

For the master bathroom Anna asked from the beginning that the large environment would accommodate a bathtub, the shower and a large forniture.
We have designed this space allocating an entire wall to the wellness area: the two water elements are side by side and framed by large slabs that make it practical to relax soaking in the enveloping freestanding bathtub and then wash away the water and soap in the walk-in shower, model of shower box composed of a single fixed glass that allows to access freely and to not have closures and joints difficult to keep clean.

Wellness in the shower

Do the clients want to take only the shower? They can have their moment of relax also here thanks to the seat, made custom-made and covered with the same gres slabs that dress the entire area including the shower tray, that allows them to sit and enjoy the massage of the cervical waterfall installed on the wall.

Copper and chocolate

Also the rain shower head, and all the taps in this bathroom, is in copper finish, an elegant, refined tone and a beautiful point of light, matched to the chocolate-colored claddings and to the chosen furnishings.

Double sink and tube for the laundry

On the front wall we have designed and made a double furniture and a custom-made storage column with a wooden door that hides the tube for the laundry, very convenient for the dirty clothes that makes them go down directly to the laundry room on the floor below.

Which color to match with alabaster?

The bathroom of the day area, dedicated to guests,,is characterized by a lacquered furniture khaki color, unusual coloration that we have matched to the streaks of the large slabs onyx effect that from floor go up vertically as cladding.

The taps in stainless steel finish, very practical, create a design environment with a neutral flavor.

We anticipate to you that we are a small family company, composed of a team of designers and site technicians who collaborate with planners, craftsmen and building companies for the internal and external finishes of the house. In short we are not a large DIY store, we do not have low price products but we select high quality products and we often work custom-made.
Our products are Made In Italy and we give you a series of services - consultancy, project, inspections, assistance during the sale and post sale, internal laboratory for the production of custom-made elements - that you will not find in large-scale distribution.

... our weaknesses

Being a family company means, however, that we also have many defects. For example we are slower to give you a quote because we reason on all the possible solutions, also custom-made.
It means that we are not very fast in deliveries: we do not have products immediately available because we realize projects each time different.
The various Leroy Merlin, Tecnomat, Iperceramica or Polis are much faster than us because they work with already ready solutions, that you can load in the car immediately if you like them.
