Giulia Panato

Who is Giulia?

Giulia was born on 5 April 1987 in Arzignano, after finishing school she became an accountant and then went on to study at the ISAI Institute in Vicenza, with her classmate Roberto MarinShe is one of our designers specialising in bathroom furnishings, hroom furnishings, but will not fail to intervene in the design of other types of interiors and provide advice on stoneware flooring. Creative by nature, Giulia pursues her passion for aesthetics by taking courses in photography, painting and cooking. She is an all-rounder who does not play on predictable solutions and who loves contact with the public.

When you don't find her in the showroom you find her busy playing sport, with the family or planning a new trip! Giulia is convinced that travel opens up views and that creativity explodes when you are confronted with different realities, new cultures and new flavours. The 'new' influences her work and the way she achieves her design solutions. In short, she is a train in constant movement and evolution!

Giulia PanatoColleagues say about Giulia

Teamwork in this world is very important and Giulia is held in high esteem by her colleagues. She often works with Roberto and Guido on larger projects, but generally likes to take an all-round view of her own projects: "I like to have a complete vision of the house, focusing on a problem until I find the most suitable solution". In general she works independently, but especially for technical advice she relies on the team she works with every day.

Here is what her colleagues say about Giulia, after working with her for years at Fratelli Pellizzari:

Her style: creative utility

For Giulia, design is divided between the useful and the beautiful, between functionality and aesthetics. The two aspects meet in the middle, so the practical solution is formed at the same time as the purely aesthetic design. But Giulia makes it clear that, although creativity is a turbocharger in her design, she is keen to do something practical for the client, something that makes their life easier: "When we go to choose a floor for the house, we can't just consider the aesthetic effect. Think about how much it is used: it is trodden on repeatedly every day, objects and substances fall on it. It has to be practical and durable. The choices depend a lot on what kind of use it will be put to: everything in the house has to be practical because it is generally exploited to the maximum".

So everything in the home has to be practical, but according to Giulia there are also furnishing elements that don't have to have an immediately practical function, but can simply make the environment more beautiful and attractive. It is therefore important to see something beautiful, something you like, something that makes you feel at home. Especially when designing a bathroom, she thinks it is important to respect the personality of the client and create something that is tailored to the person in front of her.

To give you a better idea of how Giulia works I leave below her portfolio, not only of bathrooms, but also of various interiors she has designed

Giulia's style

The realisation: from concept to concrete reality

For many planners and interior designers, as well as for Giulia, this is one of the most beautiful and exciting moments: seeing the project go from paper to reality. Behind every successful realisation there is a lot of communication with the person who will live in the renovated walls, a great work of understanding and empathy. When the words run out and the building site is completed, the only way to understand whether a good job has been done is to see the face of the client in his new private space. For us it is always a satisfaction to be able to document this journey!

And so these photos hide behind the stories of the people who live in those houses, of a long collaboration between the families who live there and Giulia, of weeks of construction work in the house and of needs that result in creative solutions. These are just some of the works Giulia has completed over the years, but they are among her favourites!

And what do her clients say?

The most important point of contact is with the customer. And it is the client who reminds us whether or not the work has been done well and whether each member is heading in the right direction, whether it has that "something" that convinces and pleases, whether the work is done correctly and with attention to detail or in a crude and hasty manner. Here are some reviews that clients who have worked with Giulia have written about her:
