Who is Roberto?
Roberto is our parquet sector manager at the Gambellara site, where he arrived more than ten years ago directly after finishing his studies at the ISAI institute in Vicenza, where he studied interior design. His thirst for knowledge and desire to learn about all the technical aspects of the work then led him to take part in various refresher courses, such as the MAPEI and BAUWERK courses. He has therefore specialised in the all-round knowledge of wooden floors, from parquet problems to laying patterns, and, if you ask his colleagues, he is the expert in the company.
Roberto doesn't just deal with parquet, you'll find him knowledgeable and experienced in all types of flooring and cladding, be it interior or exterior. When it comes to bathrooms, you'll find him working with his colleagues Greta Rigolon, Giulia Panato and Erica Tregnago, who have years of experience in the design of this room.
Collegues say about Roberto
He himself says that he favours working on flooring, so when a bathroom project comes up, he asks for the intervention of trusted colleagues who have been in that world for longer. At Fratelli Pellizzari we strongly believe in the importance of teamwork, and so does Roberto. One day he told me: "Working in a team allows me to have a kaleidoscopic vision of a project, a problem or an individual situation". It allows me to have a global vision and it is difficult for a project to come out of a single point of view.
According to Roberto, teamwork is not only good for designing and activating creativity, but it is also good for the client himself: "We are often busy and in a hurry, having several people working together allows us to give the client the right attention and support. It's also a way of making up for each other's shortcomings without the client feeling that they are missing out."

His style: attention to details and the executive aspects
Talking abut personal style is sometimes difficult. The work of an interior designer and planner consists first and foremost of understanding the tastes and needs of the people who are going to live in theis house, so as to find the right solution, giving advice and sometimes making it very clear what absolutely cannot go well. Roberto knows this and his way of working reflects the attention to details that he puts into every area of his life.
Even thugh he works in a creative field, indeed, he pays a lot of attention to the practicality and feasibility of each idea. According to him, good design is measured not only in beauty, but also in functionality and feasibility, taking into account all the variables that are ecperienced on site and the characteristics of the home.
His colleagues repeatedly refer to him as a "technician", and that is very true! But is precisely for this reason that many of his customers appreciate him.
He brings back to those he has in front of him his vision of the home as "refuge in which recharge and rest", but mixing it with a few lesson on the materials he is going to use in his home, convinced that a well-informed client is also a happier client. All this without ever forgetting the importance of the aesthetic dimension.

The realisation: a project becomes reality
One of Roberto's favourite parts of the job: when the idea that was born together with the customer becomes concrete. For some people it is very easy to imagine the finished product by looking at a project, for others it is almost impossible and they will only be able to imagine the final result when the work is almost complete. Moving on to the concrete, here are some of the projects that Roberto has completed together with the rest of the team and, above all, thanks to the technicians who completed the site in actual fact.
