Dry construction systems
By dry building systems we mean the use of materials that enable the construction of the house (or parts of the house) by assembling components that are joined with screws, dowels or other mechanical fixings. Unlike traditional construction, which involves the use of cement mortar and other binders that have to consolidate and dry, the dry system is faster because the elements are already pre-fabricated and finished.
Plasterboard walls and ceilings
The dry systems we will focus on in this section are mainly:
- plasterboard walls,
- false ceilings,
- use of multilayer panels with thermal and acoustic insulation.
These three types of drywall systems are extremely suitable for renovation work because they allow you to intervene quickly and with less inconvenience than traditional building methods.
